Homeplus Launches Unique Lunar New Year Ready Meals

In the lead-up to the Lunar New Year holiday, Homeplus has seen a significant surge in sales of ready-to-eat meals.

Homeplus announced on the 8th that sales of popular holiday ready-to-eat products increased by up to 300% compared to the same period last year during the past month before the Lunar New Year holiday.

By product, sales of representative holiday popular ready-to-eat dishes such as beef short rib stew and royal court-style short rib stew rose about 300% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, sales of Mala Tang and Mala Xiang Guo ready meals increased by 142%, and sales of Jjamppong Sundubu meal kits rose by 92%.

Accordingly, Homeplus will offer unique Lunar New Year ready-to-eat foods and spicy exotic dishes until the 14th. First, the "Sweet and Tender Beef Short Rib Stew (700g)" that allows you to easily enjoy holiday short rib stew is sold for 10,990 won, and the "Signature Home Meal Royal Court Short Rib Stew (700g)" is sold for 9,990 won. These products are eligible for an additional 10% discount when purchasing two or more. Also, a total of 13 items including Signature frozen pancakes, Donggeurangttaeng (Korean-style meat patties), and Tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) are offered at a 10% discount to My Homeplus membership members.

The "Signature Home Meal Sichuan-style Mala Tang (420g)" and "Signature Home Meal Beef Mala Xiang Guo (635g)," which help cut through greasiness with a mala flavor, are available for 9,990 won to My Homeplus membership members. The "Signature Home Meal Ibiga Jjamppong Sundubu (1025g)" is offered to My Homeplus membership members for 12,990 won. A new large-capacity meal kit, "Octopus Seafood Jjamppong Soup (1364g)," will also be launched.
