LG Electronics announced on the 8th that it has launched a new '14-person LG DIOS Objet Collection Dishwasher.'
The new product is available in three types: built-in models with bottom heights of 10 cm and 15 cm from the kitchen floor, and a freestanding model that requires no separate installation work, allowing customers to choose according to their kitchen interior.

The 14-person dishwasher can wash 110 pieces of tableware at once. LG Electronics enhanced internal space utilization with the 'Smart Shelf+' which features adjustable height and a dedicated holder for knives and scissors. Customers can adjust the height of the upper shelf in three steps to conveniently load everything from small cups to deep and large pots.
Usability has also been significantly improved. The new product is equipped with the 'Glide Rail,' previously only applied to the ultra-premium built-in kitchen appliance 'Signature Kitchen Suite' dishwasher. The glide rail, mainly used in high-end furniture, helps customers open and close the shelf, which becomes heavy with many dishes, more easily with less effort.
It also features internal lighting to make loading dishes easier even in dark surroundings. Customers can adjust the brightness of the internal light in two levels through the LG ThinQ application (app).
A convenient voice guidance function has also been added. Customers can set the guidance level in three stages via the LG ThinQ app. When 'Maximum Guidance' is selected, it provides instructions not only for basic course start and end but also for hygiene management such as sterilization and consumable replacement management like filters.
The powerful hygiene functions and washing and drying performance of the LG DIOS dishwasher have been inherited. TrueSteam, which boils water at 100 degrees Celsius, is excellent for hygienically washing dishes. The TrueDry function combines differentiated technologies including condensation drying, automatic door opening drying, and hot air drying to deliver outstanding drying performance. After the automatic door opens, hot air made from external air filtered through an air filter dries the moisture remaining on the dishes thoroughly.
The water softening device applied to the new LG DIOS dishwasher reduces lime scale in the washing water, decreasing water stains.
The shipment price of the new product is 2.14 million KRW. It is also available through a subscription service that reduces initial costs and provides continuous maintenance.
