"Confidence in the Artificial Intelligence Semiconductor Market"
Semiconductor equipment company Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 7th that it will cancel all 345,668 treasury shares (0.36%), worth 20 billion KRW, in April this year.
A Hanmi Semiconductor official explained, "Although the semiconductor market continues to face domestic and international uncertainties, this decision was made based on confidence in enhancing shareholder value and the future value of Hanmi Semiconductor in the AI semiconductor market."
At the shareholders' meeting in March 2023, Hanmi Semiconductor revised the dividend record date to March 7 every year. It announced the largest cash dividend plan in the company's history, amounting to 42 KRW per share and a total of 40.7 billion KRW.
Hanmi Semiconductor will pay cash dividends to investors holding shares as of the 7th of next month. On the 2nd, it received an order from SK Hynix for the largest single order in the company's history, worth 86 billion KRW, for the 3rd generation hyper model "Dual TC Bonder Griffin" for AI semiconductor HBM production. The company has recorded cumulative orders totaling 187.2 billion KRW to date.
