AliExpress will waive commission fees for sellers joining 'K-venue,' a platform selling domestic products.
AliExpress, an overseas direct purchase (direct import) platform operated by Alibaba Group, announced on the 7th that it is recruiting domestic sellers to join K-venue and supports sustainable mutual growth.

K-venue is a domestic product sales channel launched by AliExpress in October last year. Major brands such as LG Household & Health Care and Korea P&G are currently participating. Products sold on K-venue are shipped directly from Korea for free, and although delivery times vary depending on the product and region, most are delivered within 3 days.
Currently, domestic sellers joining K-venue are exempt from both listing and sales commissions. AliExpress plans to maintain this commission waiver policy for the time being.
Additionally, sellers can immediately participate in the March 'Anniversary Sale' today, gaining an opportunity to increase sales. The Anniversary Sale is considered one of the largest promotions on AliExpress alongside the Singles' Day event.
This is the first time AliExpress is recruiting domestic sellers. AliExpress plans to operate K-venue on a trial basis for the time being and strengthen sustainable cooperation with initial partners.
Ray Zhang, head of AliExpress Korea, said, "The Korean market is very important to AliExpress," adding, "AliExpress has been deeply considering ways to promote mutual growth with the Korean market and domestic sellers, and we hope to collaborate with more domestic partners through this opportunity."
He continued, "Through the K-venue channel, AliExpress will expand opportunities for customers to easily access a variety of domestic products needed in daily life, beyond just direct purchase items."
Meanwhile, domestic sellers wishing to join K-venue can apply through the application tab that appears when searching for AliExpress on portal sites.
