Studio Samik's stock price on the first day of its KOSDAQ listing has risen more than 150% compared to the public offering price.
As of 9:22 a.m. on the 6th, Studio Samik was trading at 47,950 KRW, up 29,950 KRW (166.39%) from the public offering price of 18,000 KRW.
Founded in 2017, the online furniture distributor Studio Samik is known as a 'furniture SPA (manufacturing and distribution integrated)' company. By collaborating with distributors, it has built an 'all-in-one' logistics system covering everything from product storage to delivery and installation, thereby lowering sales prices. Customers can receive their purchased furniture the next day or on a specified date. Additionally, the company provides free installation services.
The company owns brands such as Samik Furniture, Scandinavia, Juksan Wood Workshop?famous for wood slabs?and Studio Sleep, a high-end stainless steel spring mattress brand. It has diversified its distribution channels through its own online mall, social commerce, and open markets.
Through demand forecasting conducted with domestic and international institutional investors, the final public offering price was set at 18,000 KRW, exceeding the upper limit of the expected price band (14,500?16,500 KRW). In the general subscription, it recorded a competition rate of 2,650 to 1. The subscription deposit amounted to approximately 5.07 trillion KRW.
