"Hope to Be a Small Help to the Local Economy" ... Gyeongbuk Development Corporation Holds Traditional Market Shopping Event

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jae-hyuk) held a '2024 Lunar New Year Traditional Market Shopping' event on the 5th at Jungang New Market in Andong City, Gyeongbuk Province, attended by Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly member Kim Dae-jin and about 40 executives and employees of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation.

At this shopping event, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation aimed to contribute to revitalizing local traditional markets ahead of the holiday by purchasing various items using pre-prepared traditional market gift certificates (Onnuri gift certificates). Additionally, the event included promotional activities to spread ESG management by utilizing recycled shopping bags produced by Gyeongbuk Development Corporation itself, striving to fulfill its role as a representative public enterprise of Gyeongbuk.

About 40 executives and employees of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation gathered in one place for a commemorative photo after completing a traditional market shopping event.

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation conducts shopping events by sequentially visiting traditional markets in the Gyeongbuk region every holiday (Lunar New Year and Chuseok) and continuously carries out donation activities to support vulnerable groups in the region simultaneously with the shopping events.
