Geochang-gun, Anti-Aging Healing Land Open During Lunar New Year Holiday

Open for 4 Days Without Closure, Free Parking Available

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 6th that Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land will operate normally without any holidays for four days from the 9th to the 12th during the Lunar New Year holiday to accommodate returning visitors and tourists.

Located at the foot of Udusan Mountain at an altitude of 1,046 meters, Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land was created with the theme of healing and therapy, utilizing a pristine forest environment. It features facilities such as ▲ the Y-shaped suspension bridge, the first of its kind in Korea to be selected as an excellent structure ▲ a barrier-free deck road that anyone can walk on safely and comfortably ▲ a forest healing center ▲ a forest playground ▲ a forest recreation hall ▲ and forest houses.

All facilities within the Anti-Aging Healing Land will be available during the holiday period, and the upper parking lot will be open free of charge to prevent any inconvenience to visitors. However, shuttle bus service from Gajo-myeon, Geochang-gun, to the Anti-Aging Healing Land parking lot will be suspended during the winter season but is scheduled to resume in March.

The county has organized its own work team to conduct emergency duty for vehicle guidance and safety management of facilities such as the suspension bridge.

County Governor Gu In-mo stated, “During the Lunar New Year holiday, we will regularly inspect the safety management of tourist facilities and address any inconveniences to visitors so that everyone visiting Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land can leave with good memories along with the beautiful forest natural scenery.”
