Lee Gijae, Yangcheon District Mayor, is greeting the elderly at a senior center on the afternoon of the 5th in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
From February 1 to February 6, Mayor Lee plans to visit 38 senior centers in the area over four days to meet local elderly residents, offer holiday greetings, and listen to their opinions regarding the use of the senior centers.
On this day, visiting places such as the Sinjeong Supsokmaeul Apartment senior center, Mayor Lee personally performed the traditional New Year's bow and exchanged well-wishes with the elderly. He stated, “I will carefully oversee the senior centers, which are the main living spaces for our elderly, to ensure they become warm places that enrich their daily lives.”
