Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, visited Janghowon Traditional Market on the 4th ahead of the Seollal holiday to inspect the livelihood situation.

During the visit, Mayor Kim encouraged the merchants and directly purchased holiday essentials to observe price trends for the holiday season. Mayor Kim stated, "Price increases for agricultural and livestock products are expected due to the economic downturn," and added, "We will make multifaceted efforts to revitalize the local commercial district."
