Employees of Korea Capital, a specialized financial company, practiced a special act of sharing to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday.
Korea Capital announced on the 5th that it participated in supporting low-income residents such as elderly living alone, single-parent families, and veterans in Jung-gu, Seoul, by preparing 280 'Lunar New Year gift packages' for low-income elderly and donating 10 million won in sponsorship funds.
More than 30 executives and employees who participated in the volunteer work prepared packages filled with various daily necessities including food and personally visited the homes of neighbors in need. The employees delivered the packages and exchanged holiday greetings, sharing warm kindness together.
The company stated, “Elderly living alone who have difficulty moving around find it hard even to purchase necessary items for their homes, so this was a warm and special volunteer activity where we personally visited each household carrying gift packages,” and added, “We hope this volunteer work will be a small help for the happiness of neighbors in need within the local community during the Lunar New Year holiday.”
