iToxxi Signs Game and Broadcast IP Licensing Agreement for 'Super Girls Battle' with Vietnam VTC Online

Itoksi announced on the 5th that it has completed an intellectual property (IP) licensing agreement for the mobile subculture RPG game ‘Super Girls Battle’ and the Super Girls Battle broadcast with VTC Online, Vietnam's largest game distributor.

‘Super Girls Battle,’ launched in December last year, was reported to have succeeded in popularity, ranking first on both Google Play Store and One Store's popularity charts shortly after its release.

Vietnam's VTC Online is the largest game publisher in Vietnam and a platform company providing education, SNS, and portal services. It has partnerships with global game companies such as Netmarble, Nexon, Smilegate, and Tencent. Through this agreement, the licensing rights for both the ‘Super Girls Battle’ game and the ‘Super Girls Battle’ broadcast IP were acquired, with a planned release in April this year.

Before the game’s launch, Itoksi conducted aggressive marketing by creating eight game characters based on a girl group and female influencers. Through a YouTube channel operated by Tak Jae-hoon, ‘Super Girls Battle’ broadcast content was produced, achieving over 25 million views and continuing its success. On the 2nd, a fan meeting event was held where fans could meet all eight female cast members who appeared on ‘Super Girls Battle.’ The fan meeting attracted intense interest, with 100 people selected by lottery from 100,000 users through an event.

An Itoksi representative emphasized, “As the first in the industry to produce web entertainment content, collaborate with games, and hold fan meetings, we are receiving strong interest not only domestically but also overseas,” adding, “We will leap forward as a global publisher through the export of game and broadcast IP.”
