Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, will implement a 'Holiday Comprehensive Plan' from the 9th to the 12th during the Lunar New Year holiday period to enhance convenience for residents and visitors and to respond swiftly to various emergency situations.
The county has organized seven task forces with over 80 personnel across different fields including ▲disasters and accidents ▲healthcare ▲civil complaints. The primary focus is on 'resident safety.' Jangseong-gun has established and operates a 24-hour disaster situation management system linked with the Integrated Control Center.
Medical emergencies will be addressed by operating health centers, branch clinics, and dispensaries on a daytime rotation basis. Emergency and on-call medical institutions as well as holiday duty pharmacies have been secured according to dates. Residents can check the operating schedules of medical institutions and pharmacies by searching the Jangseong-gun website or contacting the health center.
The civil complaints sector is also being carefully monitored. The county conducted a comprehensive inspection of major water supply and sewage facilities to prevent issues during the holiday and secured water supply vehicles in preparation for any water outages. During the holiday, a mobile cleaning team will operate to maintain a clean environment in the town center and villages.
The Memorial Park, which is expected to receive many visitors, will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the holiday, with parking attendants assigned to minimize visitor inconvenience. However, for smooth use, only the columbarium will be open, and the ritual altar and rest areas will not be operated. Bringing in or consuming food is also restricted.
