Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun is having a conversation after appointing the 'Suwon City SNS Supporters' on the 2nd.
The 'SNS Supporters' of Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province, held an inauguration ceremony and officially began their activities.
On the 2nd, Suwon City announced on the 4th that it held the '2024 SNS Supporters Inauguration Ceremony' at the auditorium of Gwanggyo Pureunsup Library, where Mayor Lee Jae-jun presented appointment certificates to 30 supporters.
The SNS Supporters will explore and introduce the hidden charms of Suwon from the citizens' perspective by experiencing beautiful places throughout Suwon City, events, and cultural programs, then sharing posts and photos. The activity period lasts until December 31 of this year.
The posts and photos covered by the SNS Supporters will be introduced through Suwon City's blog, Facebook, Instagram, and other SNS platforms.
Suwon City has been operating SNS Supporters since 2013. This year, 30 members were recruited, with 291 applicants, resulting in a competition rate of 9.7 to 1.
Mayor Lee Jae-jun of Suwon City said, "No matter how good a policy is, it is difficult for citizens to know if it is not promoted," and urged, "Even if it is a bit awkward or lacking, please actively promote and color Suwon City's SNS."
Meanwhile, last year, 35 SNS Supporters were active, posting a total of 1,587 articles and pictures.
