According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 2nd, the minimum temperature on the following morning is expected to be between -4 and 5 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature during the day between 3 and 11 degrees Celsius. The whole country will be mostly cloudy, but less than 5mm of precipitation is expected in Gangwon Yeongdong, Gyeongnam, the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk, and the Jeolla region. Occasional rain or snow will fall in Gangwon Yeongdong and the northern East Coast of Gyeongbuk in the morning. Rain starting from the western coast of Jeonnam in the late afternoon will spread to the rest of the Jeolla region and Gyeongnam.
Jeju Island is expected to receive 5 to 10mm of rain over two days starting from this day. The southern Chungcheong region will see less than 0.1mm of rain or less than 0.1cm of snow.
Fine dust concentrations in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, and Chungnam are at 'bad' levels. Other regions are forecasted to be between 'good' and 'normal'. However, northern Gyeonggi and Chungbuk are expected to temporarily reach 'bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves are forecasted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea nearshore waters, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East and West Seas, and 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
