Zoom Internet announced on the 2nd that it has appointed Namhyun Kim as CEO and transitioned to a dual CEO system with Namhyun Kim and Taegi Kim serving as co-CEOs.
The company established the dual CEO system to enhance management efficiency and strengthen responsible management. Newly appointed CEO Namhyun Kim will focus on stabilizing Zoom Internet’s management and long-term growth, while CEO Taegi Kim will concentrate on advancing IT technology to create synergy.
CEO Namhyun Kim led the early mobile business at Sports Chosun and launched various apps in the sports, gaming, and entertainment sectors at its affiliate, Tion Network. In 2014, he spun off as CEO of Seal Company. In 2018, he co-founded the blockchain ad tech company Adforce Insight. Afterwards, he oversaw the B2B business for three years at NBT, a mobile advertising platform company. Recently, he served as Chief Business Officer (CBO) at NotiPlus, an AI media startup.
CEO Namhyun Kim stated, "I plan to focus on stabilizing Zoom Internet and securing long-term growth momentum. By strategically utilizing the group’s abundant AI technology resources and big data processing capabilities, we will introduce a new Zoom Internet that offers users high convenience and benefits."
