Daesang Cheongjeongwon Launches Two Types of Meat Marinades
Daesang Cheongjeongwon is launching two types of meat marinades: ‘LA Galbi Marinade’ and ‘Gisa Sikdang Pork Bulgogi Marinade.’ Both new products are soy sauce-based, loved by people of all ages, and allow for easy preparation of delicious meat dishes with just one bottle of marinade. Unlike the existing beef rib marinade made for braised ribs, the LA Galbi Marinade is suited for grilling, with reduced saltiness and sweetness to achieve balance. It contains pureed fruits and vegetables that tenderize the meat, allowing the marinade to penetrate deeply and provide a soft sweetness. The ‘Pork Bulgogi Marinade’ replicates the flavor of the famous old restaurant Gisa Sikdang known for its bulgogi set meals. It uses Cheongjeongwon brewed soy sauce and oyster sauce for umami, and even recreates the smoky flavor when grilled directly on a grate or foil.
Pulmuone Orga Whole Foods Launches Two Types of ‘Brown Rice Bugak’ Made by a Master Craftsman
Pulmuone’s subsidiary Orga Whole Foods is launching two types of ‘Brown Rice Bugak’ made with the expertise of a master craftsman, offering a crispier and nuttier taste. The newly released ‘Master Craftsman’s Nutty Brown Rice Bugak’ was created in collaboration with Food Master No. 25, Oh Hee-sook. It is made using a traditional method where carefully selected seaweed and kelp are coated with glutinous rice paste, dried, and then fried, preserving the original nutrition of the ingredients while delivering a savory and crunchy texture. Fried in brown rice oil for excellent flavor, it is also vegan-certified for guilt-free enjoyment. The product undergoes a degreasing process after frying to minimize trans fats. The price is 4,500 KRW. In addition to the two single items, a gift set (6 packs, 45,000 KRW) was released for the Lunar New Year holiday.
