Daegu Bank Supports 60,000 Small Business Owners with 44.2 Billion Won Interest Cashback

DGB Daegu Bank announced on the 1st that it will refund 44.2 billion KRW in loan interest to individual business loan customers, including self-employed and small business owners.

The interest refund targets are individual business owners holding corporate loans from Daegu Bank as of December 20 last year (excluding real estate rental business loans). Based on a loan balance of up to 200 million KRW, 90% of the interest rate exceeding 4% will be refunded up to a limit of 3 million KRW per borrower.

Approximately 59,000 eligible customers will be notified of the detailed refund amount via text message on the 5th of this month. The refund will be paid to the loan interest withdrawal account under the customer's name on the 7th.

During this process, customers are advised to be cautious as any unnecessary procedures such as requesting personal information or offering additional loans under the pretext of text phishing or cashback application/inquiries constitute electronic communication financial fraud (voice phishing).

Daegu Bank is providing practical benefits to those eligible for win-win financial support. Last month, it signed a business agreement for ‘Gyeongsangbuk-do Win-Win Financial Support’ and provided a special contribution with a limit of 12 billion KRW. It also offers non-financial support such as customized management consulting for small business owners and capacity-building education support.
