The two institutions plan to operate task-specific consultative bodies separately from the promotion team on an ongoing basis to ensure smooth transfer of childcare tasks to the Office of Education, and to prepare concrete measures regarding organization, finance, and task transfer.
Deputy Superintendent Hwang Seong-hwan said, “Children are our future and hope,” adding, “The two institutions will communicate and cooperate with each other so that young children in Jeonnam can receive high-quality education.”
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education plans to strengthen preparations for childcare integration and the transfer of childcare tasks for 22 cities and counties by forming a Childcare Integration Promotion Team within the Early Childhood and Elementary Education Division.
