On the 1st, Nam-gu stated, "By opening the village community center facilities within the district as shared spaces, we achieved diversification in center utilization and active resident communication, and through efficient management of public development resources, we provided convenience to users, earning the honor of being selected as a comprehensive excellent institution."

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety annually evaluates the performance of local governments nationwide to activate the opening and sharing of public resources held by local governments and to provide better Sharing Nuri services to the public.

The evaluation indicators included four categories: discovery and management status of public open resources, promotional performance, user satisfaction, and best practices.

The reason Nam-gu was selected as a comprehensive excellent institution was due to high praise in the best practices category for efficiently operating 12 village community centers located within the district.

Since 2017, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety has been creating village community centers in each neighborhood and linking village projects tailored to regional characteristics such as unmanned tea houses, comic cafes, bean sprout cultivation and sharing projects, and digital capacity building, highly valuing efforts to maximize the utilization of village community centers.

Additionally, the ministry highly appreciated the revision of Nam-gu’s Community Center Management and Operation Ordinance, which established a responsible operation system by having each village community center’s operation plan approved by the village operation committee and conducting quarterly performance and plan reports.

Nam-gu also achieved results in the discovery and management of public development resources.

In particular, to activate the use of Sharing Nuri registered resources and public open resources, Nam-gu continuously updated related materials on the Sharing Nuri portal site, facilitating various conveniences for users.

As of the end of October last year, the number of Sharing Nuri registered resources in Nam-gu was counted at 1,210.

Furthermore, Nam-gu attracted attention from Ministry of the Interior and Safety officials by posting promotional materials 35 times over a year using online media such as the district office’s blog and Instagram, as well as a monthly newsletter in newspaper format, to help residents easily obtain information about shared resources.

A Nam-gu official stated, "We will continue to do our best in discovering public resources and providing services so that all residents in the district can enjoy a better life through the use of public resources and Sharing Nuri services."
