The National Health Insurance Service announced on the 1st that it has added information on welfare supplies and long-term care insurance benefit usage to its app service, 'The Geongangboheom'.
The updated content mainly includes three parts: ▲'List of Welfare Supplies Items and Products,' where users can check product photos and prices of all 624 welfare supplies provided under long-term care insurance benefits ▲'Proper Welfare Supplies Usage,' which contains information on selecting and using welfare supplies ▲'Guide to Using Elderly Long-term Care Insurance Benefits,' which provides necessary information on procedures and costs for home and facility benefit usage under long-term care insurance.
An official from the Service stated, "To use long-term care benefits wisely, it is important to check various information provided by the Service before using the benefits," adding, "The Service will continue to support benefit usage for elderly long-term care insurance beneficiaries through ongoing information provision to enhance user convenience."
