Jeju Fire Station Conducts Capacity Building Training for Fire Safety Managers

Jeju Fire Station (Chief Yang Young-seok) announced on the 1st that it conducted a training session to strengthen the autonomous safety management capabilities for fire safety managers and assistants in the jurisdiction.


The training, held on the 31st of last month in the main conference room of Jeju Fire Station, was organized to enhance the safety awareness of related personnel and fire safety managers, as well as to improve autonomous safety management skills such as the maintenance and management of fire facilities.

The main training contents included ▲ conducting self-inspections (comprehensive, operational) and the appointment and procedures of safety managers ▲ methods for autonomous safety inspections by related personnel ▲ precautions when preparing revised fire plans ▲ guidance on the roles and duties of fire safety managers and assistants ▲ and information on amendments to the Fire Prevention Act.


Chief Yang Young-seok stated, “This training was arranged to improve the autonomous safety management performance of fire safety managers,” and added, “We ask for much interest and cooperation in creating a safe environment from fire through improving the fire safety awareness of related personnel.”
