On the 31st, Samsung Electro-Mechanics shared its new business plans during a conference call following the announcement of its fourth-quarter results for last year, stating, "Silicon capacitors will be mass-produced and applied to substrates for high-performance computing packages as early as the end of this year or in 2025, with an expanded lineup." They also said, "To strengthen automotive technology capabilities, hybrid lenses are being developed with a goal of mass production in 2025."
Additionally, they stated, "Glass substrates, small solid-state batteries for mobile devices, and solid oxide electrolyzer cells (SOEC) are also under development with a target for mass production in 2026," adding, "We will continue to discover new businesses to secure future growth engines."
