Vehicle Fire at a Parking Lot in Tongyeong... Lightning Charcoal Found, No Casualties

A fire broke out in a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a building in Mujeon-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, a report was received at 5:08 a.m. on the 31st that flames were rising from a vehicle parked in the parking lot.

Firefighters who responded to the report from a passing vehicle driver extinguished the fire at around 5:27 a.m. that day.

One vehicle was completely burned in the fire, but no casualties occurred.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire based on the discovery of a lightning charcoal briquette in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
