The 100 Days Challenge is an organizational culture program that supports employees in freely setting challenge tasks and steadily achieving goals over 100 days to discover growth momentum. Employees have participated in the program by certifying their weekly activities using the internal system for 100 days.
Hanwha Construction Division awarded prizes to about 20 employees selected as outstanding achievers for each challenge task among the participants. Excellence in participation and goal achievement awards were given according to the number of participation days. Consolation prizes were awarded to employees who participated consistently but fell short of the required participation days to motivate them.
The challenge tasks were composed of feasible activities planned and executed by employees themselves without any restrictions, such as obtaining various job-related certifications, reducing body fat, and reading humanities books. Physical fitness activities to form healthy lifestyle habits were the most active, and many employees also worked hard to enhance job competencies such as language skills.
Park Seongjae, Assistant Manager of the Resource Circulation Team, who won the Excellence in Participation Award, said, "At first, I was worried because I set somewhat difficult challenge tasks, but after planning weekly activities and implementing them step by step, the burden was reduced," adding, "Based on this experience, I plan to approach high goals in my current work by breaking them down into smaller steps."
Jeon Changsoo, Head of the Human Resources Support Office at Hanwha Construction Division, said, "Through this program, we hope employees have a time to voluntarily find and accomplish valuable tasks," and added, "We will continue to create a vibrant organization that constantly sets goals and immerses itself in them."
Hanwha Construction Division operates various programs to enhance employee job satisfaction. It is leading the creation of an organizational culture where the company and employees can grow together through activities such as the seasonal safety and emotional activities 'Snack Truck Visiting Construction Sites' and the in-house psychological counseling program 'Rapolena.'
