Iljin Display, a specialized IT component manufacturing company, announced on the 31st that it has completed the sale of land and part of the buildings located in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.
This sale involves some idle buildings due to the relocation of the production line overseas. The total sale amount is 53 billion KRW, and the secured funds will be used to strengthen financial soundness and invest in new businesses.
Previously, Iljin Display actively pursued new business development by recruiting CEO Lee Woo-jong, who joined Samsung and gained extensive experience in research and development, sales, planning, and marketing in the display field.
Lee Woo-jong, CEO of Iljin Display, stated, "Through strengthening the competitiveness of existing businesses and fostering new businesses, Iljin Display will provide new value to its customers."
