Shinan Police Station Conducts New Year Visit to Orphanage

Continuing morale-boosting activities to support those in need

Jeonnam Sinan Police Station (Chief Lee Byung-jin) conducted a visit to Sinan Childcare Center, a marginalized group, ahead of the Lunar New Year on the 30th.


According to Sinan Police on the 31st, on that day, Chief Lee Byung-jin, along with Jeong Seong-cheol, chairman of the Sinan Police Station Police Development Council, members, and affiliated department heads and staff, visited the Sinan Childcare Center located in Amhae-eup, Sinan-gun, with the intention of continuous support for marginalized groups, delivering daily necessities and food supplies.

An official from the childcare center said, “The care items not only greatly help the children but also served as a good opportunity to prevent school violence through a lecture by the School Police Officer (SPO).”


Chief Lee Byung-jin conveyed warm words, urging, “Do not lose hope and strive toward your dreams to become a foundation for a great society.”


Jeong Seong-cheol, chairman of the Police Development Council, stated, “I hope that we can help children in need around us to welcome a hopeful new year, even if just a little,” and added, “We will continue our visits to support places in the community that need help together with Sinan Police Station.”
