Volunteering at Local Senior Welfare Centers
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gyeongnam visited local welfare centers ahead of Seollal, the traditional Korean Lunar New Year holiday, to hold a 'Happy Tteokguk Sharing Event.'
Over three days from the 29th to the 31st, this volunteer activity took place at Uichang Senior Welfare Center, Geumgang Senior Welfare Center, and Jinhae Senior Welfare Center, with the participation of about 30 members and executives of the Chamber, including Chairman Choi Jae-ho, Vice Chairmen Kim Myung-ja, Kim Hwan-tae, Lim Young-gap, Jung Hyun-sook, and Cho Hyun-wook.
This volunteer activity was conducted as part of Chairman Choi's commitment to service and dedication to the local community, announced during his inauguration as the 5th chairman, with the aim of creating a Chamber of Commerce that works together with the community.
Chairman Choi said, "The local community consists not only of businesses but also workers' families and citizens, so both businesses and citizens must be happy for the community's value to increase," adding, "The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to continue activities that make the region happy and enhance its value."
