Hanwha Group's major affiliates announced on the 31st that they will advance cash payments of 300 billion KRW to over 2,500 partner companies ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday and hold sharing events for the holiday.
Hanwha Corporation will pay 31.1 billion KRW, Hanwha Aerospace 43 billion KRW, Hanwha Solutions 12.8 billion KRW, Hanwha Ocean 164.4 billion KRW, Hanwha Systems 4.6 billion KRW, and Hanwha Precision Machinery 7.7 billion KRW in cash, advancing payments by up to approximately 54 days compared to usual. This measure is part of efforts to ease the financial burden on partner companies, and Hanwha Group has been making early payments every holiday season.
In addition, major affiliates plan to purchase local specialty products and present them as Lunar New Year gifts to in-house resident partner companies, service workers, and key customers. The total amount spent on purchasing local specialties reaches 4.5 billion KRW, which is expected to significantly contribute to revitalizing the local economy.
Employees of major affiliates will also engage in sharing activities for the local community. Through local community welfare centers and volunteer centers, they will deliver holiday support items (such as food, lunch boxes, and healing products) to underprivileged groups including basic livelihood security recipients.
