Youth Policy Council Members Actively Create Benches and Spaces to Develop Outstanding Facilities and Dreams

On the 29th, Miryang City in Gyeongnam held the 'Miryang Youth Happiness Nuri Center Construction Detailed Design Service Kick-off Meeting' at the city hall's small conference room.

Attending the kick-off meeting were Acting Mayor Heo Dongsik of Miryang, city officials, public architect Professor Kang Jaejoong, architect Seo Jeongseok, and Kim Eunjeong, representative of the design firm Shinwoo Gonggam.

The meeting proceeded with a presentation from the design firm on the basic direction for the Youth Happiness Nuri Center construction, followed by discussions among the participants.

The participants offered various opinions to build a better support center, including the placement of convenience facilities, parking spaces, and the flexibility of the shared office, all aligned with the purpose of the facility for the youth who will lead Miryang's future.

The Youth Happiness Nuri Center is planned to open in 2026 and will be constructed within the Nano Convergence National Industrial Complex on a site area of 2,081㎡ and a total floor area of 1,574㎡, with three above-ground floors. It will serve as a space for youth communication and collaboration, featuring facilities such as a shared office for youth startup support, a media content production room, and cultural support.

A city official stated, “Through the establishment of the Youth Happiness Nuri Center, which supports youth startups and cultural activities, we aim to create jobs and provide networking opportunities for young people. We will promptly proceed with the detailed design and construction and actively benchmark excellent facilities with the newly formed youth policy council members to create a facility where young people can freely pursue their dreams.”
