Miryang Knowledge Industry Center Holds Kick-off Meeting for Basic and Detailed Design Service of Construction Project

Nano Convergence National Industrial Complex... Corporate Support Facilities

Miryang City in Gyeongnam held a kickoff meeting for the "Miryang Public Rental-type Knowledge Industry Center (hereinafter referred to as the Knowledge Industry Center) Construction Project Basic and Detailed Design Service" in the city hall small conference room.

The meeting held on the 29th was attended by about 10 people, including Acting Mayor Heo Dongsik, public architects, service providers, and heads of related departments, to discuss the direction of the service promotion.

The total project cost for the Knowledge Industry Center is 25.9 billion KRW, including 16 billion KRW in national funds. It was selected in 2022 as a new project supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for the construction of public rental-type knowledge industry centers and has been actively promoted since last year.

The main project content is to create corporate occupancy spaces (workplaces), meeting rooms, banks, investment consultation rooms, and other corporate support facilities within the Nano Convergence National Industrial Complex. The design is scheduled to be completed by October this year, with construction starting in March next year and completion expected in 2026.

Acting Mayor Heo said, "The construction of the Knowledge Industry Center is expected to be a project that revitalizes the Nano Convergence National Industrial Complex by improving the corporate occupancy environment and expanding industrial complex infrastructure, laying the foundation for fostering local industries in Miryang City."
