"Gather at Nari Basin in Ulleungdo"... Ulleung-gun to Host Snow Festival

The snow festival will be held on Ulleungdo, the largest heavy snowfall area in Korea.

Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will host a snow festival from February 1 to 3 at Naribunji under the theme "A Snowy Experience Full of Excitement to Enjoy with Family and Lovers."

The festival will begin with hosting by Seo Baek, a former contestant of Mr. Trot, followed by congratulatory performances by singer Jeong Gwang-tae, Ulleung-gun ambassador, who sings "Dokdo is Our Land," Tongsamo, fusion flute player Seo Gabi, Seoul Family's Wi Cheong-il and the Sunflower vocal band, and celebrity Baek Bong-gi, also an Ulleung-gun ambassador.

For entertainment, various attractions and activities will be offered, including tube sledding, snow boating, snow skiing, a unique snowman-making contest, running while wearing traditional snow shoes (Seolpi), winter games, and a snowflake wish tree experience.

Meanwhile, Ulleung Cruise is selling the "Snow Country Ulleungdo One Night - One Day Cruise Package," which allows visitors to experience the Ulleungdo snow festival without staying overnight on the island.
