"Rest Area for Wanju Residents... Fulfilling Cultural Needs like Movies"
The Wanju Cultural Foundation (Chairman Yoo Hee-tae) announced on the 29th that it held the opening ceremony of the small neighborhood cinema 'Wanju Hoo Cinema' (hereinafter Hoo Cinema).
According to the Wanju Cultural Foundation, Hoo Cinema underwent a complete renovation to meet the cultural needs of Wanju residents and provide diverse cultural experiences, and it opened its doors anew on the 24th and began operations.

The opening ceremony on that day marked a new beginning with a pre-ceremony performance and ribbon cutting. About 100 people attended, including Yoo Hee-tae, Wanju County Governor, Seo Nam-yong, Chairman of the Wanju County Council, Ahn Ho-young, National Assembly member, Wanju County Council members, local organization leaders, and Wanju residents.
Hoo Cinema has two theaters with 36 seats in Theater 1 and 54 seats in Theater 2, and also operates a caf?. It is closed every Monday, and reservations can be made on-site, via the internet homepage, or through a mobile app.
Yoo Hee-tae, Wanju County Governor, said, "I am pleased to reopen the small cinema that residents have been waiting for," and added, "I hope it becomes a space where not only moviegoers but all residents can visit and relax."
