"Hwasun and Naju Will Lead Greater Growth"

Shin Jeong-hoon, the Democratic Party preliminary candidate for Naju·Hwasun, officially launched the integrated election countermeasures committee at the Naju regional office on the afternoon of the 27th, entering the full-scale general election system.

At the launch ceremony, declarations of support from representatives of different generations, professions, and regions continued, filling the election camp to capacity and creating a great atmosphere.

With a firm determination to "care for public sentiment and revive people’s livelihoods," the camp was named the "Minsheng Camp," and the slogan was set as "Strong Democratic Party! Powerful Member of the National Assembly! Indeed, Shin Jeong-hoon!"

The integrated election countermeasures committee launch ceremony was attended by 23 standing advisory members, including former National Assembly member Bae Ki-woon, former Naju Mayor Kim Dae-dong, former Baewon Yeonong Cooperative Chairman Lee Sang-gye, and former Naju City Hall Director Hong Gil-sik.

As standing election committee chairpersons, Choi Myung-soo, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member from Naju, former Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member Lee Ki-byeong, and former Naju City Council Chairman Hong Cheol-sik participated. Representing women of Naju, Kim Soon-rye, Chairwoman of the Women’s Association Council, and Lee Soon-ok, representative of women entrepreneurs, joined the Minsheng Camp. From Hwasun, former Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member Moon Haeng-ju, former Vice Chairman of Hwasun County Council Yoon Young-min, former Happiness Forum representative Moon Jeong-gyun, Hwasun County Council member Jo Myung-soon, and Hwasun youth representative Kang Jae-hong, also a Hwasun County Council member, participated together.

Jeong Wan-gi, former Standing Auditor of the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute and representative standing advisor, said, “For the Democratic Party’s victory, preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon must be elected by an overwhelming margin,” adding, “Let us unite all our strength so that he becomes a great servant of the country beyond Naju and Hwasun.”

Standing election committee chairman Lee Ki-byeong emphasized, “It is highly meaningful that the senior local figures who have led the development of Naju and Hwasun have joined forces with preliminary candidate Shin,” and added, “Let us protect Shin Jeong-hoon as we protected Lee Jae-myung, becoming an integrated election committee!”

The youth representatives of the election committee gifted sneakers to candidate Shin and his spouse, expressing their wish for them to work hard solely for the people’s livelihoods.

Candidate Shin appealed, “I will continue to practice politics that realizes justice for the underprivileged. I will compete with the development of Naju·Hwasun, the innovation of the Democratic Party, and the future we will create,” and asked, “Please give me the opportunity to repay the trust of the citizens of Naju and the residents of Hwasun.”

Starting with this election committee launch ceremony, Shin Jeong-hoon’s Minsheng Camp plans to continue launching election committees by profession and by eup, myeon, and dong (township and neighborhood) units.

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, candidate Shin held a press conference for his candidacy, stating, “I will unwaveringly protect the Democratic Party and work for the Democratic Party and Naju·Hwasun as a dedicated worker who has fought solely for the people’s livelihoods despite all difficulties, a Shin Jeong-hoon who delivers results.”

He also promised: ▲ To establish a strong Democratic Party that suppresses the tyranny of the prosecutorial dictatorship and restores democracy in the Republic of Korea, just as he fought against the Chun Doo-hwan military regime in 1980 ▲ To create the Bitgaram Innovation City in Naju and the vaccine special zone in Hwasun based on his skills and experience ▲ To make Jeonnam a treasure trove of future food resources.
