According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, on the 27th, under the influence of a high-pressure system over central China, the entire country will be mostly clear, but clouds will gradually increase from midday. Jeju will have occasional cloudiness. On the 28th, due to the high-pressure system moving from central China toward the Shandong Peninsula, the country will experience occasional clouds, becoming gradually clear from midday.

From dawn to morning, some areas in Jeju will see rain, and raindrops are expected in the islands of the western sea in Jeolla Province. Expected precipitation amounts are less than 5mm in Jeju and less than 0.1mm in the western sea islands of Jeolla. In the mountainous areas of Jeju, instead of rain, 1 to 3 cm of snow is expected.

At 8 a.m. on the 27th, the temperatures in major cities are forecasted as follows: Seoul -4.5°C, Incheon -3.8°C, Daejeon -4.3°C, Gwangju 0.3°C, Daegu -2.8°C, Ulsan -0.3°C, Busan 0.4°C, and Jeju 6.3°C. The highest temperatures during the day on the 27th will range from 2 to 10°C, which is somewhat warmer than the average (1 to 8°C). On the morning of the 28th, the lowest temperatures will be between -11 and 0°C, with daytime highs ranging from 1 to 8°C.

In the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province and the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province, where cold wave warnings are in effect, morning temperatures will be around -10°C. Other central regions and inland North Gyeongsang will also be cold, with temperatures around -5°C. Until the 29th, high waves caused by swells entering the east coast of Gangwon and the coastal areas of Gyeongsang Province may overflow rocky shores or breakwaters, so caution is advised.
