Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, is promoting an automated agricultural machinery rental reservation project by introducing the KT AI Voicebot at three agricultural machinery rental centers (main office and each consultation office) of the Cheongsong-gun Agricultural Technology Center starting January 2024, to establish a continuous reservation system and automation for agricultural machinery rental services.

The AI Voicebot is a continuous phone reservation system that allows farmers in Cheongsong-gun to quickly and accurately check the list of rental equipment and available rental dates through the AI Voicebot's "interactive conversation" and reserve the necessary agricultural machinery. In addition to the standard names of agricultural machinery, the program allows the addition of synonyms, enabling farmers to select and apply for rental using the names they commonly use.
Going forward, the county plans to strengthen education and promotion on how to use the AI Voicebot, and through follow-up management such as voice learning of the Gyeongbuk regional dialect, continuously enhance AI performance to increase the utilization of rental management via the AI Voicebot.
County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, "I hope that the introduction of this automated agricultural machinery rental reservation system will lead to improved convenience for farmers and increased mechanization rates in agriculture," adding, "I expect it to be a great help to farm management."
