Dong-A University Software Innovation Center Signs Business Agreement with Kyungsung Electronics High School

Joint Efforts in Software Talent Development ... Program Operation and More

The Software Innovation Center at Dong-A University (Director Professor Lee Seok-hwan) has signed a business agreement with Busan Gyeongseong Electronics High School (Principal Ha Min-yong).

The signing ceremony was recently held at Dong-A University with the attendance of Director Lee, Principal Ha, and other officials from both institutions.

This agreement was made to promote cooperation in nurturing software talent, mutual exchange, joint development of curricula, lecture plans, and teaching materials in new technology fields, and the operation of joint programs to expand the value and base of software.

Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to explore mutual cooperation measures for nurturing software talent.

Director Lee Seok-hwan stated, “Through the achievements of the AI/SW major, convergence, and basic education under the Dong-A University SW-Centered University Project, we aim to expand the AI/SW base in the Busan region and contribute to the expansion of high school software education. Through this agreement, we will support software education and lab internships for high school students in the IoT and game content fields, as well as academy education for teachers.”

Dong-A University was selected as a ‘2023 Software (SW) Centered University’ by the Ministry of Science and ICT, receiving a total project budget of 18 billion KRW over eight years under the leadership of Professor Lee Seok-hwan, innovating software and artificial intelligence education and nurturing core AI and SW talents.
