[Concall] SK Hynix "HBM Price Premium to Be Maintained This Year"

On the 25th, SK Hynix stated during a conference call following the announcement of its fourth-quarter results last year, "Due to the sharp price increase of general DRAM products, the price premium for HBM compared to last year may decrease somewhat. However, HBM3E, which will be newly launched and have expanded sales this year, will reflect a price premium considering the increased development difficulty and higher input costs compared to HBM3." They added, "We believe that the price premium (for HBM) can be maintained through changes in the HBM product mix, etc."

They also explained, "The company is negotiating prices on an annual basis by comprehensively considering HBM R&D, capacity investment costs, life cycle, and general DRAM prices," and "Due to this decision-making method, the price stability of HBM is higher compared to general products, and as the HBM market expands in the future, the stability of the DRAM business will increase."
