Actor Jang Geun-suk honestly answered questions about his wealth and communicated with fans. On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'I am Jang Geun-suk' uploaded a video titled "'I think I delivered a lot of bread during school days' I'll tell you everything!!!". In the video, Jang Geun-suk decided to personally answer questions fans were curious about.
When asked, "When will you get married, have a baby, and show us?" Jang Geun-suk replied, "Even during holidays or family gatherings, it was a lighthearted line like 'When will you feed us noodles?' but fans and channel subscribers around me kept asking when I would have a baby and get married. I'll handle it myself. Don’t pressure me by saying you did. I have my own timing, and if I find the destined partner, I will do it," he said sharply. He continued, "If I could say one thing to my future bride watching this content now, it would be: 'Enough already, stop coming. I've been patient enough,'" sending a video message to his future wife.

Then, in response to a fan’s question, "Hyung, how much money do you actually have? Invite me to your house just once. I want to do a mukbang," he said, "I’ll be honest. I’m not without money," mentioning his wealth. He added, "That doesn’t mean I’m like 'I’m the best,' but I should say I’ve accumulated wealth as much as I’ve worked hard, or even more," and smiled awkwardly.
It was reported around 2022 that Jang Geun-suk’s real estate holdings in Seoul and Japan were valued at 130 billion KRW. 130 billion KRW is currently about 100 million USD, making him a billionaire rather than just a millionaire. As of that time, he owned buildings worth at least 50 billion KRW in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and over 21 billion KRW in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, both of which reportedly doubled in market value. Additionally, a building in Shibuya, the heart of Tokyo, Japan, was said to have been purchased for about 60 billion KRW.
Earlier, on December 29 of last year, Jang Geun-suk donated 10 million KRW worth of rice to 'Together Love Field.' Having continuously donated through various organizations, Jang Geun-suk has been sharing rice with underprivileged groups for 13 consecutive years since 2011, demonstrating his positive influence without missing a single year. He said, "I hope that this donation worth 10 million KRW can help alleviate the difficulties of neighbors in cold winter and facilities in special circumstances, even if just a little."
Meanwhile, controversy arose when it was revealed that Jang Geun-suk’s mother, Jeon, evaded taxes worth tens of billions of KRW through the establishment of an entertainment agency. She was convicted of tax evasion under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes and ultimately paid a fine of 4.5 billion KRW last year. Jang Geun-suk clarified that it was unrelated to him, but after the tax evasion controversy surfaced in 2015, he withdrew from the broadcasts he was appearing on and suspended his activities. Since then, he has mainly focused on overseas activities.
