Kookmin University (President Seung-ryeol Jeong, hereinafter Kookmin Univ.) LINC 3.0 Project Group announced that Kookmin University students participated as the ‘CES 2024 Seoul Integrated Pavilion University Supporters’ at CES 2024 held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 9th to the 12th.
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States. The CES 2024 Seoul Integrated Pavilion was held at Tech West Eureka Park, with participation from 13 institutions including the SBA (Seoul Business Agency), Kookmin University, other Seoul-based universities, autonomous districts, and startup facilities, totaling 81 companies and 85 university students.
The 20 Kookmin University supporter students selected as CES 2024 Seoul Integrated Pavilion supporters engaged in activities such as identifying responsible company buyers through 1:1 company analysis before attending CES and arranging business meetings via the CES App.
The supporter students also participated in the Seoul Integrated Pavilion inauguration ceremony, where they cheered for the participating companies alongside Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, CTA Chairman Gary Shapiro, exhibiting companies, and partner organization representatives, expressing their expectations for the Seoul Integrated Pavilion activities.

After completing professional training, the supporter students were matched with 19 startups based in Seoul and directly managed business meetings and interpretation duties at the respective company booths. Through this, they had the opportunity to participate in an overseas exhibition as members of leading domestic startup companies, understand trends in innovative technologies in the local market, and enhance their global business capabilities by meeting many companies and visitors of various nationalities.
Jin-woo Jang, a supporter student from Kookmin University’s Department of Electronic Engineering, said, “It was a very meaningful time to participate as a supporter in CES, an international consumer electronics exhibition,” adding, “What impressed me most was that I was able to act responsibly not just as a participating student but as a member of the matched company Norispace, directly briefing overseas buyers on Norispace’s human resource management solution ‘Workit’.”
