Active Financial Support Requested for Current Projects
Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 24th that it visited the Disaster Mitigation Division of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 22nd to secure the national and provincial budget for disaster prevention projects in 2025.
Hamyang County is visiting the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to propose current projects in the field of natural disaster reduction.
On that day, the head of the Safety City Division and the recovery support officer visited related departments within the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to provide a detailed explanation of the necessity of key ongoing projects such as the natural disaster risk improvement district maintenance project and the steep slope maintenance project, and actively requested budget support for national and provincial projects in the field of natural disaster mitigation.
The Safety City Division is smoothly promoting the natural disaster risk district maintenance project to systematically manage disaster-vulnerable facilities and areas with concerns of human casualties and to promptly eliminate disaster risk factors.
The head of the Safety City Division stated, “Disaster prevention projects are permanent preventive measures to prevent human and property damage caused by various natural disasters such as typhoons and heavy rains, so they must be carried out. We will do our best to secure national and provincial funding.”
