Individuals Net Sold 111.9 Billion KRW
Steel and Metals, Transportation and Warehousing Up Over 1%
The KOSPI is slightly rising due to simultaneous net buying by foreigners and institutions.
As of 9:50 AM on the 23rd, the KOSPI recorded 2,473.37, up 9.02 points (0.37%) compared to the previous trading day.
By investor type, foreigners and institutions net bought 19.2 billion KRW and 77.3 billion KRW respectively. Meanwhile, individuals net sold 111.9 billion KRW.
By sector, Steel & Metals, Transportation & Warehousing, Medical Precision, Finance, Chemicals, and Textile & Apparel rose more than 1%. On the other hand, Electric & Gas, Construction, Telecommunications, and Distribution sectors slightly declined.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics traded at 74,700 KRW, down 400 KRW (0.53%) from the previous trading day. Meanwhile, POSCO Holdings and POSCO Future M rose more than 2%, and LG Energy Solution, Celltrion, Hyundai Motor, LG Chem, and Kakao increased more than 1%. Conversely, SK Hynix fell 2.17%.
The KOSDAQ recorded 844.70, up 5.01 points (0.60%) compared to the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals and institutions net bought 27.7 billion KRW and 21.8 billion KRW respectively. Meanwhile, foreigners net sold 45.9 billion KRW.
By sector, Other Services, Publishing & Broadcasting, General Electric & Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, and Software rose more than 1%. Conversely, Telecommunications Equipment fell 1.27%.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM traded at 252,500 KRW, up 4,500 KRW (1.81%) from the previous trading day. Additionally, HPSP and Alteogen rose 5.43% and 4.0% respectively, and L&F also increased 3.43%. Conversely, Classys fell 2.61%, and Rino Industrial declined 1.71%.
