Ulsan City and Kyungdong City Gas Hold Ceremony for 100 Million Won Donation in 'Hope Sharing Campaign'

Kyungdong City Gas Donates 344 Million Won Over 3 Years

Kyungdong City Gas (Chairman Song Jae-ho) generously donated 100 million KRW to help neighbors in Ulsan. The total donation over the past three years amounts to 344 million KRW.


On the 23rd at 11 a.m., Ulsan City and Kyungdong City Gas held a ceremony to deliver the 100 million KRW donation for the ‘Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign’ in the mayor’s office on the 7th floor of the main building. About 10 people attended, including Kim Doo-gyeom, Mayor of Ulsan, Song Jae-ho, Chairman of Kyungdong City Gas, and Jeon Young-do, Chairman of the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea.


The donated funds will be entrusted to the Community Chest and used to support low-income vulnerable groups and neighbors in welfare blind spots in the region.


Kim Doo-gyeom, Mayor of Ulsan, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to Kyungdong City Gas for consistently practicing neighborly love,” adding, “Ulsan will strive to be a city favorable for business where local companies can grow and give back to society, so that both citizens and companies can live prosperously.”


Established in 1977, Kyungdong City Gas is a company engaged in city gas supply and safety management, energy diagnosis, energy saving (ESCO), and resource development projects. It has steadily practiced neighborly love by donating 98 million KRW in 2021, 94 million KRW in 2022, and 152 million KRW in 2023 to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea.
