Hamyang-gun Recruiting Participants for Certification Acquisition Education Expense Support Project

Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting participants who wish to obtain certifications in four fields: drones, heavy equipment (forklifts and excavators), nursing assistants, and large vehicle (trailer) licenses, from January 29 to February 8 as part of its certification acquisition education expense support project.

This project was implemented to reduce the economic burden on job seekers and enhance their employment capabilities. It was especially prepared to actively respond to the increasing demand for technical personnel in the agriculture and industrial sectors.

Eligibility requires applicants to be residents of Hamyang-gun as of the announcement date, aged between 19 and 64 years old (55 or younger for nursing assistants). Selected participants must attend the training and obtain the certification to receive education expense support.

For drones, up to 2 million KRW will be supported for a total of 30 people; for heavy equipment (forklifts and excavators), up to 350,000 KRW for 14 people for equipment under 3 tons, and up to 800,000 KRW for 40 people for equipment over 3 tons; for nursing assistants, up to 2.5 million KRW for 4 people; and for large vehicle (trailer) licenses, actual education expenses up to 700,000 KRW will be supported for 30 people.

An official from the county stated, “We hope this project will provide opportunities for skill development to residents preparing for employment or entrepreneurship, thereby contributing to job creation and income increase in Hamyang-gun.”
