Policy Briefing for Parent Associations and School Management Committees
"Aiming to Enhance Parents' Understanding Before Full Implementation"
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education has initiated efforts to build consensus for the smooth on-site implementation of the Busan-style Neulbom policy.
The Busan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) held a 'Busan-style Neulbom Expansion Policy Briefing' on the 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the international conference room on the 6th floor of the annex building, targeting 28 executives of the Busan Parents Association Federation.
This briefing was organized to enhance parents' understanding and strengthen communication before the full-scale implementation of the Neulbom policy.
At the briefing, Superintendent Ha Yun-su emphasized making this year the "first year in which the entire community takes responsibility for educating every child," pledging to provide customized education and care services that do not leave a single student behind.
To this end, he explained the 'Busan-style Neulbom Expansion Policy,' which, starting from March this year, will provide both care and education simultaneously to all first-grade elementary students who wish to participate. A communication meeting was held afterward to gather participants' opinions.
The Busan Office of Education plans to hold an additional briefing for executives of the Busan School Operation Committee Council on the 23rd and will also conduct briefings for general parents.
Superintendent Ha Yun-su stated, "This was organized to increase understanding and build consensus on the Busan-style Neulbom policy in the field," adding, "The Office of Education will devote all its capabilities to promoting policies that alleviate parents' worries and burdens regarding care."
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is holding an explanatory meeting on the expansion policy of Busan-type Neulbom.
