52 Projects in 7 Fields Until February 16
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will recruit '2024 Rural Development Pilot Project Candidates' from February 1 to February 16 to strengthen regional agricultural competitiveness and increase farmers' income.
The rural development pilot project consists of 52 projects in 7 fields, with a total project cost of 4.7 billion KRW.
The main projects to be promoted this year include ▲ 8 projects (9 locations) such as rice pest and disease mechanical control and seedling tray root drenching ▲ 18 projects (23 locations) such as promising crop subtropical fruit complex cultivation pilot ▲ 6 projects (6 locations) such as flat peach cultivation complex pilot ▲ 3 projects (3 locations) such as management regional specialized crop shoulder-to-shoulder consultation (consulting) expansion support, △ 8 projects (12 locations) such as youth smart farming group cultivation ▲ 7 projects (14 locations) such as healing agriculture leading farm cultivation ▲ 2 projects (8 locations) such as new farmer field training.
Any agricultural management entity (farmer or corporation) residing in Boseong-gun as of the announcement date can apply.
Boseong-gun plans to finalize the project candidates after on-site evaluation and review by the Boseong-gun Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Committee following the application deadline.
An official from the Boseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center said, “We will contribute to the production of high-quality agricultural specialty products and the improvement of farm income by developing new varieties and new technologies suitable for local conditions and disseminating technologies reflecting the evaluation of demanders.”
