Kakao Piccoma's digital comic platform 'Piccoma' announced on the 22nd that it surpassed an annual transaction amount of 100 billion yen for the first time last year.
Currently, among global digital comic platforms, Piccoma is the only single platform to exceed an annual transaction amount of 100 billion yen. This represents more than a sevenfold growth compared to 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the '2023 Mobile App Market Consumer Spending' rankings compiled by data.ai, Piccoma ranked 'No. 1 in Japan' and '17th globally (7th excluding game apps)' across all categories including games. The overall category ranking including games rose by 2 places in Japan and 3 places globally compared to 2022.
Last year, Piccoma introduced 'Picklist,' a feature that allows users to publicly share their curated lists of works, and recently participated in the production committee of the anime 'Solo Leveling,' reigniting interest in the original work.
This year, Piccoma plans to actively expand its content library to reflect the diversified tastes and needs of users. Based on accumulated platform operation capabilities and know-how, it aims to enhance service satisfaction and platform competitiveness.
