Donate 2,000 Boxes of Daily Necessities Packages for Lunar New Year

On the 20th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced that BNK Gyeongnam Bank donated 2,000 boxes of daily necessities packages made to celebrate the Lunar New Year at Masan Indoor Gymnasium.

The ‘Bokkkureomi Sharing Project’ is a project in which BNK Gyeongnam Bank supports a total of 100 million KRW worth of daily necessities packages to underprivileged groups in the Changwon area for the Lunar New Year.

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, is packing Love Gift Bundles with BNK Gyeongnam Bank employees.

In this sharing activity, about 500 employees of Gyeongnam Bank, including Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Ye Kyungtak, President of BNK Gyeongnam Bank, and Kang Gicheol, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, prepared 2,000 boxes of packages containing 14 types of daily necessities.

The Bokkkureomi, consisting of instant food, pancake mix, ramen, kitchen utensils, and hygiene products, will be delivered to 2,000 underprivileged households within Changwon City.

President Ye said, “I am glad to be able to share warm affection with underprivileged and struggling neighbors during the Lunar New Year,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in coexistence with the local community through various social contribution activities that only BNK Gyeongnam Bank can do.”

Mayor Hong said, “I hope the love-filled Bokkkureomi prepared together with the executives and employees of BNK Gyeongnam Bank will be a warm gift for neighbors in need,” and added, “I ask for Gyeongnam Bank’s continuous sharing projects for local neighbors who need warm hands in the future.”
