According to industry sources on the 21st, BBQ Chicken is running a discount promotion with the delivery app Baedal Minjok (Baemin). By downloading a coupon from the event tab or the BBQ Chicken brand page, customers can get a 5,000 KRW discount on Baemin1 orders. For regular delivery, a 4,000 KRW discount applies, and for takeout or in-store pickup, a 3,500 KRW discount is available.
The coupon can be issued once per ID per day and can be used daily throughout the promotion period. It applies to orders of at least 16,000 KRW and cannot be combined with other coupons.
Additionally, BBQ is running a promotion to support the national soccer team by giving away free 'Hwanggeumal Cheese Balls (5 pieces)'. The 'Hwanggeumal Cheese Ball' is a side menu item shaped like a round glutinous rice donut. Filled generously with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, it offers a savory and chewy texture that pairs perfectly with chicken, maintaining steady popularity among consumers.
Following the match day on the 20th, BBQ will also provide coupons for free Hwanggeumal Cheese Balls to BBM membership members on its website on the 25th. Kyochon Chicken: Mobile Gift Cards Worth 30,000 KRW for 30 People Who Prove Chicken + Match Viewing
Kyochon Chicken is holding a mobile gift card giveaway event on Instagram. Customers who post proof on Instagram that they are enjoying the South Korean national team matches on the 20th against Jordan and on the 25th against Malaysia with Kyochon Chicken are eligible.
Through a draw, 10 winners per match (Bahrain match, Jordan match, Malaysia match), totaling 30 people, will receive a 'Kyochon Chicken Mobile Gift Card worth 30,000 KRW'. The chances of winning increase if the participant includes a photo showing the virtual Kyochon advertisement displayed during the match.

CU Convenience Store: Special Price of 15,000 KRW for 6 Cans of Beer
CU is offering a special discount selling six 500ml cans of beer for 15,000 KRW. This means each can costs about 2,500 KRW, which is up to 2,000 KRW cheaper than the regular price. The promotion applies to seven top-selling beer brands including Heineken, Budweiser, Guinness, Stella, and Hoegaarden, as well as two types of small-sized wine called 'Wine Half Bottle'.
Other beer bundle deals include Cass 473ml six-pack (14,600 KRW → 13,200 KRW), Kelly 365ml six-pack (11,900 KRW → 10,000 KRW), and Carlsberg and J?ger 500ml four-pack bundles priced at 9,000 KRW. Kelly bottled beer 500ml is also sold at a special price of 6,000 KRW when purchasing three bottles.
For customers who prefer smaller cans, Cloud 355ml eight-pack is offered at a discounted price of 9,900 KRW, down from 12,000 KRW, minimizing volume and price burdens.
Meanwhile, on the 15th, when the South Korea vs. Bahrain match took place, sales of chicken and alcoholic beverages surged, reaffirming the formula 'Soccer = Chicken and Beer'.
On that day, bhc Chicken's sales increased by 40% compared to the same period last week. During the same period, Kyochon Chicken sales rose by 55%, and BBQ sales increased by 67.2%.
