Western Food!" which was planned, filmed, and edited by Dong-gu itself, surpassed 1 million views within 5 days of being posted on the official SNS channel of the Dong-gu Office.
This video is a short clip that humorously plays on the pun of "food for the mind" to promote the first public library branch 'Chaekjeongwon,' which opened at the end of last year, and to communicate familiarly with residents. Above all, it broke the mold of a simple library guide promotional video by featuring a public official who fearlessly performed physical comedy, earning high praise from netizens. Additionally, the trendy content strategy targeting the MZ generation captured the attention of residents and netizens alike.

There were also reactions comparing it to the 'Promotion Man,' a public official from Chungju, Chungbuk, who became a hot topic with witty content while running the local government’s YouTube channel. Comments on the video included, "A public official has appeared to succeed the Promotion Man," "Is this person an actor? Or a public official? The acting is so good," and "Finally, a public official comparable to the Promotion Man has appeared," overflowing with support.
It is known that inquiries about the library have surged since the video was posted. Chaekjeongwon, located in Naenam-dong, Dong-gu, is a three-story building housing over 23,000 books in sections such as infant and children’s reading rooms, general reading rooms, and learning, group, and Haenaem rooms.
