Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, attended the New Year's Meeting of the Masan Bongam Industrial Complex Enterprises Association held at Hillsky Wedding Convention and encouraged the businesspeople who are striving for regional industrial development.

The event held on the 17th was attended by about 120 people, including National Assembly member Yoon Han-hong, Provincial Assembly member Jo Young-myeong, City Council member Moon Soon-gyu, and association members.
Mayor Hong presented plaques of appreciation to two association members who contributed to the local economy. A total of six people received plaques of appreciation for their contributions to regional economic development on that day.
The Masan Bongam Industrial Complex Enterprises Association is an economic organization aimed at strengthening corporate competitiveness through information, technology, and human exchange among industries, and actively engages in activities such as sharing and coexistence practices in the local community.
In his congratulatory speech, Mayor Hong said, “In 2024, we will carry out urban development projects as growth hubs for industrial, residential, and public convergence. To this end, we will establish basic plans for the advancement of industrial areas such as Bongam and Jungni Industrial Complexes, promote the expansion of national industrial complexes centered on advanced and new industries, and pursue balanced regional development.” He added, “We will transform Jungni and Bongam Industrial Complexes into advanced industrial complexes to lead economic vitality.”
